From generating ideas for stories to filming shots and editing, I learned the comprehensive process of video production. I chose to showcase the Minnesota Center for Book Arts because the role of MCBA in a community and this digital age is pivotal and needs recognition. After I pitched this idea, I made shooting plan, filmed multiple shots and interviewed the faculty members of MCBA. Using Avid Media Composer, I edited video and finalized video production. This project deepend my interest in video broadcasting aspect of journalism.

Animation is basically sequence of images. I used Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator to create three GIF animations. I gained fundamental skills to create animation using photography and images I made.
The first animation is my business card. I gave an impact in the beginning by dropping a ball of paint. I used playful font and color to demonstrate creative and bright aspects of me. The second animation challenged me to take series of photo and to utilize the resources around me. This project required creative thinking process to make story interesting by just using the pictures of everyday objects. The third animation is to tell simple story with images I drew. I used Adobe Photoshop for this project, which is essential tool for storytelling. |

AND SO magazine was created in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustration.
Comprehensive reporting, researching, writing and designing were put into work to produce this magazine. Throughout producing the magazine, I could exercise proficient writing skill, navigating and utilizing tools in InDesign, and resizing and editing images on Photoshop. Moreover, I could learn how to put layout for magazine and copy edit for professional magazine writing. |

At this age and time where there are many conflicts between races, ethnics, and classes, voting is something that brings every American together regardless of age, sex, race, and class. The poster was posted on the billboards of Territorial Residence Hall, the University of Minnesota
